The contractor shall ensure the system includes the following capabilities: . Precision bore cannon tube erosion profiling and laser-based measurement of rifled and smoothbore gun tubes and chambers . High resolution imaging of the bore and chamber surface, measured simultaneously with the profile measurements . Material loss and erosion feature detection . 3D digital modeling of the profile data The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, transportation, and equipment as defined in the Statement of Work (SOW).

Laser Bore Mapping System This requirement is for non-personal services required to provide a set of portable laser bore mapping system (LBIS-BC) for use on 105 millimeter (mm), 120mm and 155mm cannon tubes. This system will be capable of mapping the full length of the barrels, including the bore and chamber. The system will be delivered to the Anniston Army Depot facility. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, transportation, and equipment as defined in the Statement of Work (SOW). This procurement is 100% set aside for small businesses. North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 333310. This specific code MUST be listed in your -company’s SAM.gov registration under FAR 52.212-3. This solicitation and any amendments will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502, and 5.102(a); therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Proposals submitted must be in electronic format as stated in the solicitation.
