Repair, rewind, test and replace motors. Contractor shall provide but is not limited to the following services on all motors unless otherwide noted. 1) Shaft balance and runout shall meet OEM specifications. 2) Phase balance shall meet OEM specification (3 phase electric motors). 3) Windings shall be tested to ensure no grounds (earth faults), short circuits, open circuits, incorrect connections, or high resistance connections. 4) Windings shall be tested to ensure no grounds (earth faults), short circuits, open circuits, incorrect connections, or high resistance connections. This will be for a base year with four one-year options.

This is not an RFQ. Anniston Army Depot intends to solicit a contract for correcctive maintenance support for the Electric Motors located at 7 Frankford Avenue, Anniston, AL. The contractor shall be responsible for the repair, rewind, test, and replace motors as defined in the Statement of Work. The procurement will be for a base and four one-year options. This procurement will be 100% set aside for small businesses. North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 811310, and the associated size standard is $11M. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502, and 5.102(a); therefore hard copies will not be provided. Proposals submitted must be in electronic format as stated in the solicitation. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the Internet: SAM.gov. Estimated issue date is 14 Oct 2022. The Government is under no obligation and is, in fact, unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal non-responsive and result in the rejetion of your proposal.
