It is not an RFQ. The Anniston Army Depot intends to solicit a contract for the purchase of direct current electric torque tools and manipulator devices the M1 Abram assembly operations located at 7 Frankford Avenue, Anniston, AL. This procurement will include purchase, installation, and training. This procurement will be 100% set aside for small businesses. North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 333517, and the associated size standard is 500 employees. A solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102(a). The estimated issue date is August 26th, 2022. Proposals must be submitted electronically as stated in the solicitation. Vendors may download an electronic copy of the solicitation on or after the issue date at https://www.sam.gov. Hard copies will not be provided. Because the solicitation and any amendments will be issued electronically, the Government is under no obligation to maintain a bidder’s mailing list. It is incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access https://www.sam.gov to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to respond in accordance with the amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render an offeror’s proposal non-responsive and may result in rejection of the proposal.
