This requirement is for a base and one one-year option for the purchase of stainless steel cut wire for shot blasting to be used at Anniston Army Depot, 7 Frankford Avenue, Anniston, AL 36201 in accordance with the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Standards. Anniston Army Depot’s requirement is for cut wire only. No rounded or conditioning are allowed. This procurement is unrestricted. North American Industry Classification System Code is 327910; size standard is 750 employees. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502, and 5.102(a); therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Proposals submitted must be in electronic format as stated in the solicitation. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download a copy of the solicitation on or after the issue date at https://sam.gov. Estimated issue date is 23 August 2021. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is, in fact, unable to maintain a bidder’s mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of your proposal.
