Preventative Maintenance and Repair Service for Haas Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) Machines This announcement serves as a synopsis for informational purposes only. It is not an RFQ. Anniston Army Depot intends to solicit a nonpersonal service contract for technical support as well as onsite preventive maintenance and emergency repair services for Haas CNC Machines located at Anniston Army Depot, 7 Frankford Avenue, Anniston, AL. The contractor shall be responsible for preventive maintenance and emergency repair service performed by Haas certified service technicians including all labor, equipment, special tools, materials, documentation, transportation, schematics, common tools of the trade and any other items necessary to provide the required support as defined in a statement of work. This support service shall be for a one-year base period beginning at contract award with four one-year option periods. This acquisition is sole sourced to Phillips Corporation 7390 Coca Cola Drive STE 200 Hanover, MD 21076. Phillips Corporation, Federal Division is the sole and exclusive distributor of Haas CNC Machine Tools and any associated factory certified service, training and applications work for the United States Government facilities. Any organization which believes itself to be in possession of these capabilities can provide written evidence including written permission from Phillips Corporation, Federal Division to perform the services. North American Industry Classification System Code is 811310 and the associated size standard is $8,000,000.00. A solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502, and 5.102(a); therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. The estimated issue date is 23 July 2021. Proposals must be submitted electronically as stated in the solicitation. Vendors may download an electronic copy of the solicitation on or after the issue date at https://sam.gov. Hard copies will not be provided. Because the solicitation and any amendments will be issued electronically, the Government is under no obligation to maintain a bidder’s mailing list. It is incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to respond in accordance with the amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render an offeror’s proposal non-responsive and may result in rejection of the proposal.
