It is not an RFQ. Anniston Army Depot intends to solicit a contract for the purchase and installation of nine (9) CNC Vertical Machining Centers at 7 Frankford Avenue, Anniston, AL. The contractor shall be responsible for delivery, installation and performance tests of all machining centers and ancillary equipment as defined in a Statement of Work. This will be an unrestricted procurement. North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 333517, and the associated size standard is 500 employees. A solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102(a). The estimated issue date is 29 April 2021. Proposals must be submitted electronically as stated in the solicitation. Vendors may download an electronic copy of the solicitation on or after the issue date at https://www.beta.sam.gov. Hard copies will not be provided. Because the solicitation and any amendments will be issued electronically, the Government is under no obligation to maintain a bidder’s mailing list. It is incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access https://www.beta.sam.gov to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to respond in accordance with the amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render an offeror’s proposal non-responsive and may result in rejection of the proposal.
