Boiler and Cooling Tower Chemicals There are 16 Boilers, 14 cooling towers, and 20 closed loop water systems on the Anniston Army Depot (ANAD). ANAD requires the delivery of chemicals on an as needed basis throughout the year for these systems. In addition, ANAD requires the testing of said chemicals and systems. The contractor shall provide the chemicals necessary for the treatment of Boilers, cooling towers, sumps and closed loop systems as listed below as well as the specified testing services.
