SYNOPSIS W911KF-20-Q-0017 This specification establishes the requirement for the procurement Locomotive Wheel and Axle Assembly, for use with a General Motors, Electro Motive Division, General Purpose (GP) 9 locomotive at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah. Exact specifications and requirements will be explained in the solicitation. This procurement is a Unrestricted, Requirements type contract. North American Industry Classification System Code is 336510; size standard is 1500. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502, and 5.102(a); therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Proposals submitted must be in electronic format as stated in the solicitation. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the Internet: www.beta.sam.gov. Estimated issue date is 20 Jan 2020. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is, in fact, unable to maintain a bidder’s mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of your proposal.
