Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) has a current need to replace both standard welding helmets and heavy duty welding helmets currently used on Depot due to the age of the equipment. ANAD Safety has identified an acceptable brand name for each type of helmet. In addition to the fully functional helmets, replacements of certain components of these helmets will also be procured. ANAD proposes to award a new, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to purchase 3M and RPB welding helmets and associated replacement parts. This supply contract will be a requirements contract with a base and 4 option years. ANAD Safety has determined that the RPB and 3M Safety Welding Helmet meets all ANAD safety requirements.
