This Sources Sought Notice is for market research purposes only. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals. Summary of Services: This specification establishes a requirement for the purchase and installation of a Bi-Directional Amplifier (BDA) and an in-building Distributed Antenna System (DAS) at Building 398 location and Building 513 located at Anniston Army Depot (ANAD), Anniston, Alabama. Building 398 The proposed in-building DAS must work in conjunction with ANAD's existing UHF system. The UHF base station is located at Building 81 which is approximately 2.9 miles from building 398 with a bearing of 246.9 degrees. The dimensions of B398 are 258 feet x 60 feet. The communications coverage height requirement inside the building range from 24 feet to 51 feet high. Building 513 The proposed in-building DAS must work in conjunction with ANAD's existing UHF system. The UHF base station is located at Building 81 which is approximately 3.0 miles from building 513 with a bearing of 245.9 degrees. The dimensions of B513 are 325 feet x 355. The communications coverage height requirement inside the building range from 24 feet to 50 feet to 90 feet high. System Requirements The system must be designed for the following frequencies (in MHz): UHF BASE STATION TRANSMIT, TALK-OUT, DOWNLINK 386.13750 386.37500 386.58750 386.82500 388.00000 388.26250 388.56250 UHF BASE STATION RECEIVE, TALK-IN, UPLINK 396.13750 396.37500 396.58750 396.82500 398.00000 398.26250 398.56250 All equipment and services quoted must be compatible and integrate with ANAD's existing UHF system. The Anniston Army Depot is seeking responses from all responsible sources, including large, and small business concerns. Small business concerns are defined under the associated North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this 334220- Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing: Size Standard is 1250 employees. Please include your company's size classification and socio-economic status in any response to this notice. Responses to this notice must be submitted electronically to Katherine Fuller, Katherine.b.fuller2.civ@mail.mil, (telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged). "Bi-Directional Amplifier (BDA) and Distributed Antenna System (DAS)" must appear in the subject line of the email or it will be deleted and not read. Responses must be received no later than 18 March 2019 at 10:00 A.M. CDT. Interested vendors are requested to submit a statement of the capabilities of their organization with respect to the government's Request for Information. Responses should include: 1. Prospective firm's name, address, phone number, socioeconomic status and DUNS number 2. General information of firm's previous experience on at least two projects of a similar scope, complexity and value; including the title, location, brief description of work, and dollar value Responses should be "short and to-the-point." This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI.
