Typical types of services to be provided may include performing on-land and offshore geotechnical and environmental drilling and sampling for the purpose of determining soil and rock types, composition, thickness, depth, and engineering properties of the subsurface materials. The equipment and method of boring used shall be compatible with site and subsurface conditions to maximize recovery of samples representative of the in-place materials. Tree and brush clearing, surface leveling, and snow removal may be required to provide access to boring locations within project sites. Each task order issued under this contract shall address thespecific work to be performed. The applicable wage determination, when required, will be included at the task order level.
