Sources Sought Only: Description of Work: The scope of this project, AKV366 – Multi Site MAR Tow er Fire Suppression – is to provide fire suppression to electrical equipment located in the Minimally Attended Radar (MAR) tow ers. The project scope includes a new NFPA 2001 Clean Agent type fire suppression system as w ell as minor mechanical and electrical modifications required to coordinate and communicate betw een the new fire suppression system and the existing building HVAC and communication systems. Protection of the Radome/Array is outside the scope of this project. The area to be protected varies based on the configuration of the radar at each site. There are two primary configurations, stand-alone MAR Tow ers, and ‘Train’ sites, described further in section 1.1.2.
