Offer or bids will not be accepted for this notice. This solicitation will be a Total Small Business Set-Aside Procurement. Any resulting contract will be firm-fixed priced. The solicitation for this project will be available by INTERNET ACCESS ONLY and the anticipated download availability date for this solicitation will be on or about 14 February 2022. If the project is cancelled, all bid preparation costs will be borne by the offeror. Offerors are advised to begin this process when they prepare their bids in order to ensure registration is in place should they be selected for award. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Work includes, but not limited to: Demolition of the 5,700 square foot (SF) building that will consist of all building components to six (6) inches below building components. Includes the disturbance and/or removal and disposal of asbestos-containing materials, polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) containing light ballasts, mercury-containing materials, lead-containing materials and items containing radioactive compounds. Remove sidewalks, curbs, gutters and street light bases. Saw cut and remove existing pavement. Backfill with classified material as required to achieve a positive slope draining gravel surface at the building site. The Contractor is to furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to accomplish the work.

The US Army Engineer District, Alaska is conducting market research to facilitate a determination of acquisition strategy. The determination of acquisition strategy for this acquisition lies solely with the government and will be based on this market research and information available to the government from other sources. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Alaska District, is conducting this market research to identify businesses which have the capability to perform the following work: The selected contractor is required to have sufficient staff, flexibility, and capability to be available on an as-needed basis. Interested firms must be able to provide all management, tools, supplies, parts, materials, equipment, transportation, and trained labor necessary to demolish an F-35 Conventional Munitions Maintenance Facility on Eielson AFB, Alaska. The work shall be in accordance with Request for Proposal documents. Demolition of the 5,700 square foot (SF) building will consist of all building components to six (6) inches below building components.
