This is a presolicitation notice only for Geotechnical Drilling Services Indefinite Delivery Multiple Award Task Order Contract Various Locations, Primarily Alaska and the Pacific Rim. This solicitiation will be 100% Small Business Set-Aside Procurment. Any resulting contract will be firm-fixed priced. The Soldicitation for this project will be available by INTERNET ACCESS ONLY and the anticipated download availability date for this solicitation will be on or after 16 April 2024. If the project is cancelled, all proposal preparation costs will be borne by the offeror. All offerors are advised that they must be registered in SAM.gov (http://www.SAM.gov/) in order to receive an award. Joint ventures must also be registered in SAM.gov as a joint venture. Offerors are advised to begin this process when they prepare their proposals in order to ensure registration is in place should they be selected for award. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code will be 238910 - Site Preparation Contractors, which has a size standard of $19 Million. The estimated award date of this contract is June 2024. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The USACE Alaska District is conducting geotechnical investigations to provide information for projects within or near military installations or civil works projects throughout the state of Alaska. The purpose of the work is to determine the type, character, thickness, stratification of subsurface soil and rock materials, static groundwater conditions, presence of contamination, and geotechnical engineering properties of subsurface materials at the various sites. This information will subsequently be used by the Government to determine geotechnical and environmental design requirement for U.S. military and civil works projects. The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all materials, labor, tools, equipment, supplies including fuel, vehicular transportation, power and water, and all else necessary to complete geotechnical drilling requirements.
