The Contractor shall perform all inspections, testing, maintenance, repair work, and service calls on fire protection and mass notification systems located throughout the Fort Hood Military Reservation in support of the Directorate of Public Works (DPW). Performance under this contract is to provide Fire Protection Services which includes, but is not limited to, annual fire alarm inspection and repair, fire suppression system testing and repair, service call work and repair services. The requirement is to maintain the facilities within the boundaries of Fort Hood in compliance with the Fire Protection requirements defined in the United Facilities Criteria (UFC).

Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Hood is issuing a PRE- SOLICITATION NOTICE for Proposal for a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Service contract to provide Fire Protection Service to Fort Hood, Texas. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) under NAICS 561621, Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths) (Size Standard $22 million). This notice contains a description of a new requirement and instructions on how companies should respond. This notice is not the actual solicitation, but is to provide a “heads up” that the solicitation is forthcoming and solicits your capability statement from responsible interested vendors. The solicitation for this requirement is expected for release within the next 60 days (timeline is subject to change). This notice does not constitute a commitment on the part of the Government, and does not guarantee that an actual solicitation or a contract will be issued. The requirement is to maintain the facilities within the boundaries of Fort Hood, Texas The Government anticipates that the periods of performance for the solicitation and resulting contract will be one base year and four additional one-year option periods. The anticipated performance start date is 01 April 2022. The tentative dates for this service is estimated for: 01 April 2022 – 31 March 2027. The solicitation is currently contemplated to be issued on or about 15 December 2021 (dates are subject to change) under solicitation number W91151-22-R-0002 to the https://sam.gov. No paper copies of this solicitation are or will be made available. Notification of any changes (amendments) to the Solicitation will be issued only at https://sam.gov.
