The requirement is for lntoxilyzer 9000 Maintenance/ Training for two CMI breath alcohol testing instrucments IOT support the Department of Emergency Services (DES), Fort Hood, TX. The annual maintenance/ extended service is for use by the DES to maintain the CMI 9000 Breath Testing Instruments. This plan will ensure that the instruments are maintained per Texas State law. The anticipated period of performance will consist of base period, and three, 12- month option periods. IMPORTANT - This will be a 100% set aside Small Business. In accordance with these assignments, requiring activity the following: oversee operating procedures for two (2) CMI 9000 Breath Alcohol Testing Instruments to include toxi-test two (2) alcohol breath simulators with attached modems to ensure compliance with the most current TBATR. The only exception to compliance will be for command directed breath analyses. One (1) of the two (2) instruments will be used only as a replacement when the other instrument is inoperable. REQUIRED CAPABILITIES The Contractor shall provide ensure that the services provided are performed by a contractor employee who is certified as a technical supervisor by the Texas Department of Public Safety in conjunction with the Texas Breath Alcohol Testing Regulation (TBATR) services in support of the areas specified in Program Background (above). Further detail is provided in the draft Statement of Work (SOW) attached to this announcement (Attachment 1). If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization; and 2) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. What specific technical skills does your company possess which ensure capability to perform the tasks? 5.) Please note that under a Small-Business Set-Aside, in accordance with FAR 52.219-14, the small business prime must perform at least 50% of the work themselves in terms of the cost of performance. Provide an explanation of your company’s ability to perform at least 50% of the tasking described in this SOW for the base period as well as the option periods. 6.)
