This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation of Commercial Items, and FAR Subpart 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is W91151-21-Q-0187, the combined synopsis/solicitation is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This combined synopsis/solicitation document incorporated provisions and clauses, are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2021-06, effective 09 July 2021 and DFARS Defense Publication Notice Current to DPN: 09 Jul 2021. MICC Fort Hood intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price Contract for Prisoner Housing. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561210– Facilities Support Services, Size standard $41.5M. This requirement is for full and open competition. See the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) for full requirement details. The Contracting Officer intends to make an award without in-depth clarifications; however that does not prevent the Contracting Officer from entertaining discussions, if it is in the best interests of the government. All quotes must reference and acknowledge all amendments posted to this combined synopsis/solicitation, if applicable.
