Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Hood is issuing a SOLICITATION for an Invitation for Bids (IFB) firm fixed price construction contract to renovate Building 9591, Fort Hood, Texas. This includes but is not limited to: replacement of failing cabinets, replacing flooring, refinishing entry ramp/stairs, and install a new CPU desk station, along with electrical and communications lines to support these changes.. This acquisition is 100% WOSB Women-Owned Small Business set aside under NAICS 236220 (Size Standard $36.5 Million). The magnitude of the procurement is estimated to be between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The purpose of this project is to do various repairs to building 9591 to include replacement of failing cabinets, replacing flooring, refinishing entry ramp/stairs, and install a new CPU desk station, along with electrical and communications lines to support these changes. The contractor shall provide all plant, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, supplies and transportation necessary to complete this scope of work. Except as provided elsewhere in this contract, all work shall comply with applicable State, local and Federal laws and regulations, industry and construction codes and standards, manufacturer's specifications and recommendations, and all contract special provisions, terms and conditions. All work under this contract will be performed within the confines of the Fort Hood Military Installation, at Fort Hood, TX. The Wage Determination: General Decision Number: TX190230 01/04/2019 TX230 Superseded General Decision Number: TX20180279; State: Texas; Construction Type: Building; County: Bell County in Texas, will govern work under this contract. The bid guarantee in the amount shall be at least 20% of the bid price but shall not exceed $3 million. Performance and payment bonds must equal 100 percent of the original contract price. An organized site visit will be conducted for this procurement on July 15, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. CDT. Details of that site visit will be available in the solicitation.
