THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. The Medical Readiness Contracting Office-Europe (MRCO-EUR) is planning to issue a solicitation for weekly deliveries of Dry Ice for the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC) in Germany. The resultant contract type will be a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Purchase Order. All vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time a quote is submitted, and lack of registration shall make a quote ineligible for award. Vendors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220 or via Internet at https://www.sam.gov. This announcement fulfills the synopsis requirements under FAR 5.201 and 5.203. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency before the intended award date. Dry Ice Nuggets (Solid-State CO2) Dry ice with a diameter of 3 mm to 16 mm in the form of pellets or nuggets. See Addendum to 52.212-1 for Instructions to Offerors. Funds are not presently available for this acquisition. Provide weekly dry ice deliveries of 800 kg (net weight) in reusable hard-shell containers. Preferred delivery day/time is Monday 0900, excluding German and US holidays, which then fall on the next working day. Maximum size per shipping container is 300 kg (net weight). Delivered dry ice shall be independently unloaded at the delivery address below. All unloading equipment, personnel and delivery note shall be provided by supplier.
