The Regional Health Contracting Office-Europe is soliciting a requirement for providing Surgical Instrument Repair and Maintenance Services for the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC). The resultant contract type will be a Single Award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) type contract with firm-fixed-prices (FFP) established in the ID/IQ contract. Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation technique will be used. The solicitation will be issued for full and open competition. All vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award, and lack of registration shall make a quotation ineligible for award. The Regional Health Contracting Office-Europe is seeking qualified firms to provide non-personal surgical instrument repair and maintenance services for the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC). The Government will not exercise any supervision or control over the Contractor employees performing services herein. Such employees shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn, is responsible to the Government. Requiring activity: Sterile Processing Department (SPD) at the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC) UIC: W1HHAA Scope: The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, personnel, and transportation necessary to provide surgical instrument sharpening and repair services for handheld general, specialty, and micro-surgical instruments from numerous manufacturers. Instruments are to be aligned, sharpened, tightened, lubricated, and returned to manufacturer's specifications. The services shall be provided on-site and will be completed prior to the end of each workday. Period of Performance: The period of performance including all options is 1 June 2022 – 31 May 2023 – Ordering Period 1 1 June 2023 – 31 May 2024 – Ordering Period 2 1 June 2024 – 31 May 2025 – Ordering Period 3 1 June 2025 – 31 May 2026 – Ordering Period 4 1 June 2026 – 31 May 2027 – Ordering Period 5 1 June 2027 – 31 Dec 2027 – Ext. of Svs 52.217-8 It is preferred to receive the signed conformed DD1449 document.
