The Space and Missile Defense Center (SMDC), Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, has a sole source requirement for MATLAB software. This is a Sole Source with The MathWorks, Inc. IAW FAR 13.501(a)(2)(i). IAW FAR 5.207(c)(15), The MathWorks, Inc. is the only source capable of fulfilling the Government's requirement of the MATLAB Software. This software is an industry standard computaion and modelling tool and is commonly used by engineers and scientists in Space-related and other fields.. No solicitation documents exist at this time. This item utilizes North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 511210. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii) All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the Government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 7 days after date of publication of this synopsis. Phone calls will not be accepted. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
