Army Contracting Command - Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) is issuing this sources sought, on behalf of the requiring activity, Project Manager Force Projection (PM-FP) Product Manager Bridging (PdM Bridging), as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in with resources to support the production of approximately 100 JAB systems or less. PdM Bridging is seeking information to assess the availability of sources that possess the capabilities and interest to produce the Bridge Launch Mechanism (BLM) and integrate it onto an M1A1 (with A2 suspension) Abrams chassis in order to provide integrated JAB systems. Ancillary support, material and obsolescence of the M1A1 will also be required. DRS Sustainment Systems, Inc. (DRS) is the developer and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the JAB and current the Prime contractor.
