This project requires a design aspect, the Government requests with bid submission a brief write up describing how the Contractor intends to solve the issues presented in the Statement of Work. In this procurement, the write up should at minimum address the following issues: Demo plan HVAC unit to be installed and where Ducting (style, size, air flow design) Electric hook up Movement of Propane tank Bid Price This write-up does not require drawings or extensive pages of specs. The Government requires only a minimal brief to evaluate the Contractor’s intentions as well as price for evaluation of Award. 2. Abstract: This solicitation seeks qualified bidders to design and install a new propane, forced air HVAC system w ith DX cooling for Tooele Army Depot Building 1283. The project w ill include the demolition of the old system and the installation of the new system including supply ducts, return ducts, dif fusers, electrical w iring, conduits, propane gas line, regulators and electric heater in the mechanical room. The new HVAC system shall be designed to keep the building at a constant temperature in the w inter and summer months. Site visits are available for scheduling f or the w eek of February 8-11, 2021, betw een 9:00am and 4:00pm. The magnitude of this project is estimated to be between $100,000 and $250,000.
