**Amendment to Solicitation** 8th Security Forces Squadron has a requirement for installation, activation, and training for a Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) Intrusion Detection System (IDS) to their ARMAG building. This will be a “Brand Name” procurement for Honeywell equipment consisting of: Vindicator Area/Site Commander, Vindicator Premise Controller, Vindicator Passive IR 360 and Vindicator Latching Duress Keyed Switch. This project will provide the unit with the proper equipment to safeguard ammunition and explosives. Potential Contractors must purchase products through an authorized Honeywell reseller/distributor and services shall be provided in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). This will be a onetime procurement and installation. All questions are due to SSG Neill by 2 September 2022. Send all questions to craig.l.neill.mil@army.mil. The update to the statement of work can be found in 2.5.2 Conduit: Rigid Metal Conduit (RMC) shall be steel, hot-dipped galvanized inside and outside. All IDS connections shall be made with RMC. When tested IAW ASTM A90, zinc coating of RMC shall be a minimum of 1.5 ounces per square foot inside and out. Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT) and Intermediate Metal Conduit (IMC) shall be steel, galvanized on the outside and protected on the inside with a suitable corrosion-resistant material. Fittings shall be watertight. Ensure the ARMAG is grounded. Set screw and pressure cast fittings shall not be permitted. Steel compression fittings shall be allowed.
