Lumber must be heat-treated using a conventional steam or dry kiln heat chamber to 56 degrees Celsius core temperature for 30 continuous minutes. Inspection and acceptance will take up to 4 weeks after received due to on-going mission operations and during this time the government will be inspecting product and if it's not to specifications the vendor will be required to replace unusable product. Unusable products are that are broken, cracked, or have mold present on lumber.
