TECHNICAL PROVISIONS – I STATEMENT OF WORK PROJECT NO TITLE LOCATION WPZQ23-4202 Repair Facility Fuel Tanks Daegu AB a. DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, supplies and any other resources necessary to accomplish the scope of work contained herein as listed in the schedule and in accordance with the drawings, statement of work, specifications and terms and conditions contained herein. (1) The contractor shall provide shop drawings after award of the contract. (2) Contract performance period will be 300 days from the notice to proceed. (3) All work shall be completed by tailored specification and attached drawings. (4) The contractor shall request, in writing, the release of these facilities no less than 30 days prior to the start of work scheduled for the buildings. b. PRINCIPAL FEATURES: This project includes, but shall not be limited to the following principal features: 0001. REPAIR FACILITY FUEL TANKS Removal/Temporary work Coordinate with COR & customers prior to start to demolish projected area. Drain and dispose of the remaining residual fuel left in the ASTs after Government drains the remaining fuel from the ASTs and associated pipelines. Disconnect & Remove/Dispose the existing fuel pipelines to the equipment inside Mech room. Clean-up and Remove/Dispose the existing 15 EA ASTs w/ all associated accessories and Concrete pads off the base. Excavate & Remove/Dispose 500mm THK of the soil underneath of the existed Concrete pads off the base. Collect & relocate Contaminated soil to the designated stockpile yard. Turn-in salvage materials to US Government. Civil work Install new 600mm THK of the base course (for AST) to backfill the excavated areas with compaction as shown on the drawings. Install new 300mm THK of Concrete pads (for AST, 21MPa) with D13@300 re-bar for ASTs as shown on the drawings. Install new 300mm THK of the base course (for Day Tank) to backfill the excavated areas with compaction as shown on the drawings. Install new 200mm THK of Concrete pads (for Day Tank, 21MPa) with D13@150 re-bar for ASTs as shown on the drawings. Place soil to backfill the excavated area which was contaminated. Replace the existing guard posts and foundations with new as shown on the drawings. AST Installation & Utility work Install temporary tanks prior to demolition or repairing of existing ASTs. Ensure temporary tanks work with all other components prior to demolition or repairing of existing ASTs Replace underground fuel pipelines from new AST to the existing boiler in the Mech room. Replace 12 each Double Wall Steel ASTs (UL 142 / UL 2085) including leak detection system & digital level gauge, containment sump with leak sensor, Anti siphon valve, fire valve, and all necessary accessories in accordance with NFPA 30 regulations and UFC 1-200-02, UFGS—33 01 50.31, and UFGS-33 56 10. AST locations should be confirmed by COR. And new AST should be located 1.5m away from any of objects; fence, building, revetment, and so on. Replacement same quantities of containment sumps with leak sensor is required. Replace 2 each Day Tanks (UL 142) and Install 1 Day Tank(UL 142) with all necessary accessories as shown on the drawings. Install 1 SET leak detection system & digital level gauges as shown on the drawings. Inspection and test operation for the newly replaced fuel storage tank system with the boiler fully functional.
