Export Variant (XV) Second Generation Forward Looking Infrared (2GF) Thermal Receiver Units (TRUs) and Imager Assemblies Repair
The Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground Belvoir Division, on behalf of US Product Manager Ground Sensors, is conducting market research to identify sources capable of manufacturing/delivering up to 29 Export Variant Second Generation Forward Looking Infrared Thermal Receiver Units and repairing/refurbishing up to 100 2GF Imager Assemblies per year over three years. Respondents must meet specified 2GF Block 1/1R B-Kit and TRU performance specifications and interface control documents, and the contractor must produce XV TRUs compatible with previously delivered 2GF Block 1/1R TRUs, components, and B-Kits; the Government does not have rights to the complete technical data package. There is no Government funding for development and test of the TRU or its components, deliveries of new procurements are required no later than 24 months after award, foreign participation is excluded, and responders must be able to store and work on SECRET-level information. The effort is managed from Fort Belvoir, VA, and responses will help determine whether the acquisition strategy will be a small business set-aside or full-and-open competition; interested vendors should register in SAM under NAICS 334511. The Government also seeks information on past projects, production capacity, teaming/supply chain, DCAA accounting systems, and small-business subcontracting limitations.
