Amendment five is to post an amended Government response for companies trying to enter their information on the Interested Vendors List (IVL) within this draft solicitation W909MY-22-R-0007. The below response amends the Government response to round two questions, specifically industry question # 14. Besides the instructions we posted on the attachment in Amendment four, the Federal Help Desk stated these three things are important to access the IVL: 1) Company must have an active registration at SAM.GOV. 2) The person representing the contractor must be properly logged-in to SAM.GOV. 3) For the company and person trying to add their name to the interested vendors list, they must have an approved role under their profile in the SAM System that includes "data entry for contract opportunities". We hope companies will take the time to join the IVL so it strengthens the industry response when the formal solicitation comes out later in the year. ----------------------- Amendment four is to post the Government responses to industry’s final questions to the draft solicitation W909MY-22-R-0007. See the attachment entitled "B08 ICIDS VI GOV Responses to Questions Round Two Final Posting 18 Oct 22". Keep in mind when we post a formal solicitation announcement in the coming months, it will be listed under the new solicitation number of W909MY-23-R-0001. We thank you for your continued interest. ----------------------- Amendment three is to notify industry and other agencies that our formal solicitation number will change for the new FY23 to W909MY-23-R-0001. Please use this number moving forward. The formal solicitation when published later will utilize the new solicitation number of W909MY-23-R-0001. If we want to issue a FY23 award later, this change was necessary. ----------------------- Amendment two is being published to change back the NAICS Code to 334290 - Other Communications Equipment Manufacturing. The previous NAICS we changed it to, 561621 could not be used since this will potentially be a Supply Firm Fixed-Price type contract with ancillary and incidental services. This new NAICS 334290 will be the correct one related to a new ICIDS-VI Contract. Finally, as part of this Amendment 0002 Government is providing our Industry-Day briefing as promised where we briefed interested industry vendors on 8 September 2022 via MS Teams just prior to the one-on-one discussions with industry on 8-9 September 2022. Amendment 0003 only updated the above language to make it ready correctly. Final responses to remaining questions will be posted in a forthcoming update to this solicitation in Amendment 0004. ----------------------- This Amendment One to the Draft solicitation is for posting the questions and answers submitted to date and to change the NAICS code 561621 for Security Systems Services to better capture this requirement. This DRAFT Solicitation is for an ICIDS VI effort in support of the Army PEO IEWS, specifically the Product Manager, Force Protection Systems, and represents a follow-on to the previous IDIQ W911QY-16-D-0025 in support of 24 Sites in CONUS and OCONUS. This effort is being planned as a small business set-aside acquisition. See the attached solicitation and the associated attachments. 2. The first round of questions will be due by 1500 hours (EST) on 6 September 2022 to allow time for the Government to prepare to answer questions for participating vendors at the Industry Day 8-9 September 2022.
