NIACS CODE: 511210 - Software Publishers REQUIREMENT: PM FPS requires salient features for the software router needed for its programs. Vendors shall provide a software router that meets the following specified technical requirements for a virtual/software appliance: Software Router required features: Supports ISO/IEC 10589:2002 IS-IS routing protocol Supports IS-IS routing at minimum 1Gbps Supports RFC 7761 Protocol Independent Multicast - Sparse Mode (PIM-SM) RFC 5059 Bootstrap Router Protocol (BSR) IEEE 802.1Q-2014 Quality of Service (QoS) RFC 5905 Network Time Protocol (NTP) Runs on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 bare metal or KVM by linux kernel 3.10.0-957 from Red Hat Software Router additionally include, but not required: Supports IEEE 802.1AE MACsec encryption (at least GCM-AES-128 and GCM-AES-256) Supports IEEE 802.1X-2010 Port-Based Network Access Control defined MACsec Key Agreement (MKA) Protocol Supports IEEE 1588-2019 Precision Time Protocol (PTP) Supports for L3/L4 Firewall VENDOR RESPONSE REQUIREMENTS: All material submitted in response to this RFI must be unclassified.
