The Army Contracting Command – Rock Island, on the behalf of Joint Manufacturing Technology Center (JMTC), is issuing a sources sought notice in an effort to identify capable sources to supply Mazak Bridge Mill, Model V140N 280R for Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA-JMTC). The Government anticipates that one Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract The contractor shall provide and install a new Mazak Bridge Mill, Model V140N 280R. The machine will have a work envelope of 275-inches X-Axis travel, 181-inches Y-Axis travel, and 77-inches combined W and Z-Axis travel. The proposed machine would be identical in function as the Bridge Mills that are currently installed at RIA-JMTC. All responses under this sources sought notice must be emailed to Kevin Gilmore at kevin.c.gilmore.civ@army.mil. This sources sought/market survey is for planning purposes only and shall NOT be construed as a Request for Quote/Solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Government. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market survey or otherwise pay for information solicited. Industry responses to this sources sought do not represent binding offers, and the Government cannot accept an industry response to form a binding contract. The Government intends to use any information submitted in response to this request to develop an acquisition strategy for future requirements of this item. All submissions are requested electronically within 5 calendar days from the date of this publication 8 June 2022. All information submitted will be held in a confidential status. All companies interested in a potential future solicitation for this item must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
