1. The Army Contracting Command – Rock Island (ACC-RI) hereby issues the solicitation, W9098S20Q0016, forthe procurement of one Horizontal Wire Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) in accordance with the Attachment 0001, RIPD E4000-20-9-30 in support of the Rock Island Arsenal, Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA-JMTC). This solicitation is issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) and FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures). The Government intends to award one (1) Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order to the lowest price, responsive, and responsible contract whose quote conforms to the terms and conditions of the solicitation and represents the lowest total evaluated price. Contractors are responsible for providing their best price at the time of the quote submission. Contractor’s responsibility will be determined as outlined in FAR 9.104-1.
