The purpose of this solicitation to request quotes from Women-Owned Small Businesses to fabricate and install an air inlet duct work system on RIA-34246 Ingersoll Rand Air Compressor. RIA-34246 is located at The contractor will fabricate duct work per the attached RIA-JMTC concept drawing. The contractor is expected to come on site to RIA-JMTC to plan out the job. The contractor will present to the COR their final fabrication drawing for approval. The Duct at a minimum will be made from 20 gauge Galvanized sheet metal. Duct work material must resist corrosion and deterioration from the environment. Connections will be Duct Mate Flanges or equivalent. The Air Compressor's inlet air box damper will be of industrial grade, equivalent to the existing damper on the outlet side of the building. This damper will have a lever for manual opening and closing by an operator standing at the machine. This damper will have a locking device, so high air movement will not open or close the damper. The contractor will fabricate a manual lever device that will fit on the existing RIA-JMTC damper at the outlet duct in the building. This manual lever device for opening and closing will be accessible to an operator standing on the balcony in building 222. This lever will have a locking device, so high air movement will not open or close the damper. The contractor will fabricate an access panel on the north side of the air compressor inlet air box duct that will allow easy replacement of the air compressors two air filters. All access panels will be hinged and be able to be secured. It is expected that fabrication of the components will be accomplished at the contractor's fully functional fabrication facility. The contractor will supply all labor, equipment, and tools to install the duct work assembly. Connections of the duct to the air compressor will be of such a design that the duct can be easily disconnected in case of air compressor replacement. Also, the connection of the duct to the existing outside building duct will be of such a design that the duct can be easily disconnected for removal. Any braces needed to support the duct work, and their mounting procedure to RIA-JMTC equipment and/or building structure will be approved by the COR before installation. Damper open and close manual levers will be mounted so the RIA-JMTC operators can safely access them. All damper levers will be installed so the RIA-JMTC operators can access/operate them from the building 222 balcony. RIA-JMTC COR shall work with the contractor's primary or alternate POC to schedule all on site planning and work. - The contractor is responsible for cleaning the equipment and area after the installation is complete. Example: - Clean up oil spills/leaks - Clean up any waste materials - Dispose of excess parts/materials - Remove any temporary braces, scaffolding, etc. - Remove any lock outs, safety ribbon, cones, etc.
