This action is a Small Business Set-Aside. The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island, on the behalf of Joint Manufacturing Technology Center (JMTC), intends to issue a Request for Proposal to produce and provide for four groups of parts for the Next Generation Shop Equipment Welding (NG SEW) located at JMTC in Rock Island, IL, 61299-6000. The four groups under this requirement are as follows: 1. NG SEW TOOL LOAD 2. NG SEW ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS 3. NG SEW PNEUMATIC COMPONENTS 4. NG SEW ASSEMBLY HARDWARE Competition for this effort will be 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, IDIQ contract with five one-year ordering periods covering FY19 - FY24. Delivery will be FOB destination (61299). To ensure adequate competition and due to the diversity of the four groups under this requirements, the requirement for the NG SEW will be posted to FBO utilizing the below five NAICS codes. Each of the five postings will utilize the same solicitation number along with different end numbers (-1, -2, -3, -4, or -5). : NAICS Codes that we will be utilizing in FBO: 333992-Welding and Soldering Equipment Manufacturing (W9098S19T0044-1) 333515-Cutting Tool and Machine Tool Accessory Manufacturing (W9098S19T0044-2) 333992-Welding and Soldering Equipment Manufacturing (W9098S19T0044-3) 333999-All Other Misc General Purpose Machinery Manufacturing (W9098S19T0044-4) 332722-Bolt, Nut, Screw, Rivet, and Washer Manufacturing (W9098S19T0044-5) However, it should be noted that even though there will be five FBO posting for the solicitation, there will be only one award for the NE SEW. Award will be made to the best overall proposal, which is determined to be the most beneficial to the Government. Each offeror will be evaluated against the solicitation criteria to determine if the offeror has the technical expertise, equipment, and personnel required to manufacture and manage the product in accordance with the solicitation requirements and delivery schedule as delineated in in the solicitation. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore, incumbent upon interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued.
