Army Contracting Command – Rock Island (ACC-RI) is conducting MARKET RESEARCH to identify potential sources capable of providing various non-complex, commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) tooling and foam inserts/assemblies for the Metal Working and Machine Shop Set (MWMSS) Tool Load in support of Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA-JMTC) MWMSS Shelter program. A complete Technical Data Package is provided as attached. Program Background: The MWMSS is an assemblage of machinist cutting, measuring, and welding equipment integrated into a one-sided expandable, 8’ X 8’ X 20” mobile shelter. The MWMSS was designed to support Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 91E that combined the previous 44E (Machinist) and 44B (Metalworker/Welder) positions. The MWMSS is deployed to units to sustain maintenance functions in the field. ACC-RI is looking for interested vendors who are capable of providing the Foam assembly and associated tools as described in the attached TDP. Interested vendors shall provide evidence of their capabilities that best fit the identified needs.
