If you have any questions please contact the POC. _________________ The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Rock Island, on behalf of Joint Munitions Technology Command (JMTC), intends to issue a competitive Request for Quote (RFQ), W9098S19Q0039, in September 2019 with an estimated closing date of 10 days after issuance. The RFQ for Ruby Red Garnet will be issued under Small Business set-aside. The RFP will solicit quotes for one (1) Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. A total guaranteed minimum on the contract will be 44,000 pounds and the maximum quantity for the first year is estimated to be 616,000 pounds with a maximum of 3,080,000 pounds over five (5) years. The Statement of Work (SOW) will be listed in the solicitation. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFP. Contractors may obtain information on SAM registration by visiting: https://www.acquisition.gov. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereafter. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore, incumbent upon interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of the same.
