K24 and K24.1, within the updated Kitchen Product Descriptions, are hereby DELETED from this requirement. Accordingly, all vendors who have submitted quotes are requested to resubmit based upon these item deletions. A revised "Kitchen Product Descriptions" is attached under: Attachments, for all interested vendors review. Based upon these changes, the quote due date is extended until Tuesday, December 24 at noon (Central Time). ---- END of AMENDMENT ---- AMENDMENT No. 0005: Questions and Answers raised by an interested and qualified vendor last week: QUESTION 1: Item # K4 -- This is a countertop unit and no type of stand, table, or cabinet was called out for it to be mobile or to be installed on. Drawing shows it out in the dinng area. No sure how to quote this other than as is. ANSWER 1: Milk Dispenser must be mobile. QUESTION 2: Item # K9 -- This is only a dispenser, it does not make ice and has no lid on top as it's meant to have an ice maker installed on top to make ice for it to store and dispense. not even sure if any plumbing connections are called out in the drawings for one to be added in. ANSWER 2: Ice Dispenser / Ice Maker, needs to hold and produce ice. QUESTION 3: Item # K 45 -- This unit was originally a Cleveland gas unit. It is now called out as a Vulcan electrical unit. The accessories are still the Cleveland gas unit accessories. Can make changes to an electrical Cleveland to keep the accessories the same some what. ANSWER 3: Tilting kettle and accessories must be similar to Vulcan Electric. No Gas. QUESTION 4: The "Building Contractor to Install" is on line items that are just accessories. Is the Contractor installing the whole unit for us or just the single accessory? Doesn't quite make sense. This is on multiple items. ANSWER 4: Contractor shall install the whole unit, to include all accessories. QUESTION 5: On the Drawing's Kitchen equipment schedule they have that the GC is supplying the hoses for certain items and the gas hoses for certain items .. but in the specification list it does not mention this under that called-out accessory. Just need to confirm if we are not to include those items. ANSWER 5: General Contractor is supplying hoses for gas items. QUESTION 6: Item # K 49A -- This double stack oven is called out with a bakery depth model number but then states it to be a standard depth model in the description. This is like a $10,000 difference and our company wants to make sure we quote the actual model needed. ANSWER 6: Only standard depth is needed. QUESTION 7: Item # K 22 is a little vague with no model numbers called for the multiple items listed in the description .. one item we believe is actually item K 21 and just miss-typed. In the drawing it seems to show all of K 22 items to be installed under this K 21 table but this table is called out with an under shelf and legs of the over-shelf running through. Need more clarification to ensure the correct items are being quoted for the owner. ANSWER 7: A drawing of K 22 is attached within this Amendment No. 0005. It is an overhead rack. ----- END of AMENDMENT ------ AMENDMENT No. 0004: Closing Date is extended by one working week. The new Closing Date for submission of Quotes is on Friday, December 20 at 2:00 p.m. Central Time. In addition, a number of questions were submitted within the past 24-hours by an interested and qualified vendor that requires addressing through the posting of a final Amendment. This new, Amendment No. 0005 shall be posted with the Questions and Answers by early next week. It is expected that enough time is afforded for all interested parties to submit their quotes by this new Closing Date. If you have submitted a quote, you now have the opportunity to amend it, based upon these forthcoming Questions and Answers as set forth within Amendment No. 0005, if you deem it necessary. ---- END of Amendment No. 0004 ---- AMENDMENT No. 0003: Incorporation of the Dickinson Readiness Center Kitchen Drawings as an Attachment, for review by all small business offerors who are interested and qualified in submitting a quote against this new requirement. ------ END of AMENDMENT No. 0003 ----- AMENDMENT No. 0002: Question from a Vendor: What style sneeze guards do you want? We have acrylic with square tubing (CPG), or tempered glass with SS round tubing (CPG-C). Answer: Tempered Glass with SS round tubing for all instances: a) Hot Counters (K3 & K16); b) Cold Counter (K17); and Cold Counter K3. ----- END of AMENDMENT No. 0002 ----- AMENDMENT No. 0001: Question from a Vendor: Can you confirm if all equipment must be USA made? Answer: As long as the items are listed as "like items" they do not need to be U.S.A. manufactured. However, they must have the same specifications and perform the same function. Question from a Vendor: Is the Steamer on a countertop or is it a stand-alone unit? Answer: The Steamer, Item No. K-50 is to be a stand-alone unit provided with accessories and a stand. Electric 208V/3 phase, 12KW rating. Question from a Vendor: Is the steamer a 3-pan model (like Vulcan {C24EO3))? Answer: Yes Question from a Vendor: For items K3, K16, and K17 what style tray slides do you want? Answer: Preferrence is the STRS Solid Ribbed Other than these questions and answers, there is no other change to this solicitation. ---- END of AMENDMENT No. 0001 ----- This solicitation is to fully furnish the North Dakota ARNG's newly constructed Dickinson armory commercial kitchen.
