The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to award on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) - Only One Source Reasonably Available, a firm-fixed price contract to Teledyne ISCO for a CombiFlash EZ Prep system and its accessories designed to perform two varying types of purifications, normal phase purification and high pressure reverse phase purification and integrate with the equipment and consumables already in use in support of the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD). The CombiFlash EZ Prep system will enable USAMRICD to continue using the existing purification methods, retain the existing consumables, and seamlessly incorporate an additional purification system into the labs capabilities. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334516: Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing; and PSC 6640: Lab Equipment and Supplies. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS. This notice of intent is to give notice of the Government's intent to make a sole source award. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. Contractors who can provide the USAMRAA with the required services are invited to respond to this notice of intent. This announcement fulfills the synopsis requirements under FAR 5.102(a)(6) and 5.203(a). Acknowledgement of receipt of responses will not be made, nor will respondents be notified of the evaluation of the information received.
