This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will be not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The United States Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) has a requirement in support of the Department of Clinical Investigations (DCI) to purchase Yorkshire Swine to support the research and readiness requirements of an academic medical center through basic and applied clinical research projects. The Yorkshire Swine must meet the requirements of the Statement of Need (SoN) and the Minimum Essential Characteristics (MECs) identified in the Request for Quote (RFQ). The Government intends to award a Single-Multiple-Award Blanket Puchase Agreement with a five (5) year ordering period. This is an Unrestricted Competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 112990. All offerors are responsible for checking for amendments to the solicitation on Sam.gov. The Government is not responsible for any loss of internet connectivity or for an Offeror's inability to access the documents posted at the referenced website. To be eligible for an award or payment from any DoD activity, offerors must provide registration information to the System for Award Management (SAM). All Offerors must be registered prior to receiving an award. Registration instructions may be obtained, and online registration may be accomplished at https://sam.gov.
