The intent of this forthcoming solicitation is to award a contract for management of the Biomedical Research Application Evaluation and Support (BRAES) sponsored by the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program (CDMRP). The purpose of this requirement is to award a support contract for biomedical research application evaluation and support for the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) and U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRDC). This support encompasses electronic receipt of intramural and extramural pre- and full research applications, application compliance, scientific peer review, and maintaining/enhancing the government-owned, contractor-operated electronic biomedical research application portal (eBRAP). A DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached for reference. The PWS is only in a DRAFT version. As such, the Government reserves the right to make changes/updates/alterations/etc related to the PWS in future solicitations related to this announcement.
