The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to award on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) - Only One Source Reasonably Available, a firm-fixed price contract to Polhemus, Inc. for an electromagnetic head tracking system for us in the USAARL Flight Systems Branch NUH-60 Black Hawk flight simulator in support of the United States Army Aeromedical Research Laboratory (USAARL). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334511 and PSC 6610. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS. This notice of intent is to give notice of the Government's intent to make a sole source award. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. Contractors who can provide the USAMRAA with the required services are invited to respond to the attached RFQ.
