This is an extenstion of solicitation W81XWH20T0004. No qualified offers were recieved. This new solicitation is the same but there is now a 30 day submission extenstion and there is no set aside for Small Business. Please include in submission a full technical proposal as well as quote for all years. Please see attached Performance Work Statement, QASP, and Solicitation. Questions asked and answer 1. Is the current solution an Intranet solution i.e. hosted on USAMRIID servers behind USAMRIID firewall? No, the data is hosted on the vendors server. 2. Is there a preference between an Intranet solution (hosted on USAMRIID servers behind USAMRIID firewall) and a public cloud-bases solution (hosted on public cloud such as AWS/Azure) that will be accessible behind USAMRIID firewall (standard port 443 for https)? Yes, we want the data to be hosted on the vendors server. 3. What is the anticipated number (or range) of SDS to be hosted? Approximately 5 thousand SDS's. 4. What is the anticipated number of administrative users required? 4 5. What is the anticipated number of sites needed? 1 site 6. How many total users are expected to use the system? Approximately 700 users with a hotlink icon on all staff's desktop. 7. What type of SDS search functions are necessary? By chemical, location and CAS. 8. Who is responsible for providing a new version of SDS for updating the database within 30 days? The vendor. 9. Is access to a global repository of millions of SDS relevant to USAMRIID? No. If yes, will this be considered as a plus in technical evaluation? 10. What factors would be used to determine if cited work in past performance is "same or similar" and "of a nature and complexity similar to this proposed service contract"? Additional guidance on these and breaking them down into categories will be much appreciated. To be assessed by Contracting Office 11. Can you let me know approximately how many products would be kept in the software, as well as approximately how many sites would be using the software? Approximately 5K SDS's and 1 site with ~750 employees who would have access to the information per OSHA requirements. Realize that about half actually have the potential to use chemicals in their job tasks.
