The Transport Telemedicine Systems is pursuing developmental efforts to create an automated IV Pressure Infuser that increases the automation in the Army’s current use of pressure infusion bags by fulfilling the requirements detailed below. At the end of the developmental effort, a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 8 is required (See Appendix A). The final form of the technology shall be demonstrated to function properly under expected operating conditions. The Contractor shall draft a Statement of Work (SOW) for the development of the automated IV Pressure Infuser. The SOW shall include all activities required for design, development, testing, Army Materiel Release, Airworthiness Release, Authority to Operate (ATO) on a military network, production, training, and fielding. The Contractor shall provide a SOW with well thought out approach and rationale to Warfighter Health, Performance and Evacuation (WHPE) Project Management Office (PMO) for each proposed Contract Line Item Number (CLIN). The WHPE PMO will perform audits as deemed required or necessary and reserves the right to seek any contractual remedy available to it.
