**AMENDMENT 0001 - 19 DECEMBER 2019 ** - Releases the Government's Answers to Questions received. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- This acquisition is a Mu... **AMENDMENT 0001 - 19 DECEMBER 2019 ** - Releases the Government's Answers to Questions received. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- This acquisition is a Multiple Award (MA) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.303 for the purchase of Small Laboratory Research Animals to include mice, rats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and gerbils in support of basic research and Good Laboratory Practices/Food and Drug Administration (GLP/FDA) studies for the U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRDC), subordinate commands, and two (2) Defense Health Agency (DHA) Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs). The Small Laboratory Research Animals are targeted for use in Animal Biosafety Level 1 (ABSL-1) through Animal Biosafety Level 4 (ABSL-4).
