The Government’s objective is develop a strategy to provide surge medical laboratory staffing for three government- owned COVID-19 mobile medical laboratories that will be deployed to multiple CONUS military locations in support of installation military treatment facility (MTF)/ hospital/clinic laboratories. The Government will move and set up the mobile laboratories and the mobile laboratory will operate as a satellite at the installation MTF/hospital/clinic laboratory. Each mobile laboratory consists of a 20’ ISO container configured with an 18’ expandable section and contains two 4’ A2 Biological Safety Cabinets (BSC), two Cepheid GeneXpert 16 systems, computers, refrigerator and freezer. All tests for the Cepheid GeneXpert 16 systems and associated consumables will be provided by the Government.
