All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. The intent of this notice is to determine the availability of qualified commercial sources capable of providing Healthcare Environmental Cleaning Services, Types III - VI and related services. The mission of the Fox Army Health Center (FAHC), Redstone Arsenal, AL is to provide quality healthcare to patients in safe, hygienic, and aesthetically-pleasing Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs). FAHC’s health service area (HSA) is comprised of FAHC and one Veterinary Services Clinic. FAHC is an ambulatory clinic sited at building 4100 Goss Road and the Veterinary Clinic is located on Shillelagh Road in Redstone Arsenal, AL. FAHC has 3 floors including a ground level floor that houses Logistical support functions, Facilities Management Branch and Information Management Division. The 2nd Floor houses Physical Therapy, Optometry, Behavioral Medicine and the 1st floor accommodates all Outpatient Clinics, the Command Suite, Pathology, Radiology, Occupational Therapy, Outpatient Records, and Pharmacy. The Veterinary Clinic is professionally staff by Army Veterinary Corps personnel with the primary mission of providing complete veterinary care for all government owned animals. The total estimated square footage of FAHC and the Veterinary Clinic in the HSA of FAHC is 101,619. Description of Services: The contractor shall furnish all personnel, training, labor, equipment, tools, supplies, management, administration, and services, except as may be expressly set forth as government furnished, and otherwise do all things necessary to perform and provide the work efforts described in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Healthcare environmental cleaning services include: cleaning services; exterior building services (e.g. windows, doors, walkways); collection and removal of general waste (trash); removal of recycle; collection and transport of Regulated Medical Waste (RMW); and collection, transport, and distribution of linen. The North American Industry Classification Code for this procurement is 561720 and the annual size standard in millions of dollars is $19.5. The agency is seeking industry information and comments from sources with capabilities to perform the contract and with relevant experience in all of the functional areas mentioned above.
