The Medical Readiness Contracting Office – Pacific, in support of MEDCOM, intends to issue a sole source solicitation on or about 26 April 2024 for reagents and consumables for the Roche Ventana HE600 Tissue Staining System for the Brian D. Allgood Army Community Hospital, Korea. The NAICS code of this procurement is 325413 – In-Vitro Diagnostic Substance Manufacturing. This requirement is for a period of performance on or about 01 October 2024 to 30 September 2029 for a base and four option periods. The delivery/ship to address is 549th Hospital Center, BDAACH, South Korea. The statutory authority permitting this award without providing full and open competition is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) which authorizes the government to award contracts when there is only one responsible source and no other suppliers will satisfy agency requirements. This announcement fulfills the synopsis requirements under FAR 5.201 and 5.203.
