Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) (1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Medical Readiness Contracting Office-Pacific Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Health Contracting Branch, Lacey, WA, intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed price award under solicitation W81K0224Q0031 to BK Medical Holding Company in the amount of $58,899.00 for a Sole Source BKSpecto® Ultrasound System at Madigan Army Medical Center Tacoma WA. This equipment is manufactured with sole distribution by the OEM as stated in company signed letter for all U.S territories. This system offers a precise radiation treatment for cancer patients, offering autogain and tru focus for image quality, a sealed glass keyboard, with exam specific presets and user interface for efficient and simple operation. The biplane endocavity transducer provides better needle placement and greater confidence in seed placement for prostate procedures. This notice is not a request for proposal and a solicitation will not be issued. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability and specifications.
