The Medical Readiness Contracting Office – Pacific intends to issue a solicitation for a non-personal services contract for a cardiologist to implant pacemakers on an as needed basis and provide consultations on an as needed basis at Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii. The anticipated period of performance consists of a 1-year base period plus four 1-year option periods with performance commencing in September 2023. FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, is applicable to this prospective contract. This is a new requirement. There is no incumbent contract. The proposed acquisition will be set aside 100% to small business concerns. The NAICS code for this proposed procurement is 621111. This solicitation package is estimated to be available on https://sam.gov within two weeks of this posting. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued and no solicitation mailing list will be compiled.
