The Medical Readiness Contracting Office - Pacific, in support of Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC), Tacoma, WA intends to make a sole source award to PetNet Solutions Inc. for the purchase of various radiopharmaceutical products for the Department of Radiology Nuclear Medicine Services for MAMC. PetNet Solutions is the distributor of the following radiopharmaceutical supplies: FDG, NaF, Calibration Source, Amyvid, Axumin, Cerianna, and Tauvid. Due to the short half-life of the radioactive supplies, PetNet Solutions is the only company in the Puget Sound, WA area that can guarantee the delivery timeframe as needed per day. The authority permitting this award without providing full and open competition is cited in FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) which authorizes the government to award contracts when there is only one source reasonably available (e.g. urgency, exclusive licensing agreement, brand name or industrial mobilization).
