This is a Sources Sought notice and is not a solicitation for proposals or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified sources and whether to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Your response to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Madigan Army Medical Center at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington has a requirement for a variety of reagents and consumables for the Ortho Vision Analyzer. The Ortho Vision provides an automated testing environment that allows for resolution of diagnostic checking and documentation throughout the testing procedures vital to the safety and integrity of results required for the blood bank. The Ortho Vision Analyzer is Government-owned equipment. The Medical Readiness Contracting Office – Pacific intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price contract. The applicable NAICS Code for this requirement is 325413, In-Vitro Diagnostic Substance Manufacturing, and the Small Business Size Standard is 1,250 (in number of employees). Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to respond; however, each respondent must clearly identify their business size in their capabilities and qualifications statement. The Product Service Code is 6550, In-Vitro Diagnostic Substances, Reagents, Test Kits, and Sets. The Medical Readiness Contracting Office – Pacific intends to acquire commercial products using FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Interested organizations are invited to submit information demonstrating their capabilities and qualifications to fulfill the requirement identified in this notice. Interested organizations may submit their responses in writing no later than 28 July 2023 at 3:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time (PDT). Responses to this notice should include company name, address, telephone number, point of contact, and brochures which will allow the Government to understand your offerings and options. Responses should be submitted to the attention of Raina Jean Cryoskie, Contract Specialist, via email at rainajean.cryoskie2.civ@health.mil. Telephonic responses will not be accepted. All entities doing business with the Federal Government are required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and with the applicable NAICS Code for this requirement, which is 325413.
